The second release on Good Vibrations Music, “How Does It Feel?”, is a long awaited collaboration between Sean McCabe and the super talented songstresses ‘Hanlei’.
Sean’s original ‘Labour of Love’ mixes have 90’s style influences mixed with jazzy progressions and musicianship, along with an uplifting dub using cut up vocals and putting more focus on the improvised trumpet solo.
For those who love some bass, the ‘Raw Bass Remix’ is typically UK influenced, taking the energy level up a notch with Hanlei’s beautiful vocals and harmonies complimenting more minimal bouncy groove.
The singers Hannah Khemoh and Aleysha Gordon, together known as Hanlei, are well known for their hits with Rhemi and are also backing singers for the legendary Grace Jones. Hannah has also worked with Sean in the past, on the song ‘Reach Out’ featured on his Z Records debut album and his remix of ‘Passin Thru’ for Tone Control.
“How Does It Feel?” is already receiving early support from DJ’s such as Ricky Morrison, Deli-G, CJ Mackintosh, Vinny Da Vinci (SA), Sy Sez, Marcia Carr, and Niall Redmond.
